Special Person

I made this card for my Big Sissy's birthday on Tuesday. Light Lavendar mat has been stamped with a roller stamp from Stampin Up.
Sentiment is My Sentiments Exactly (see below for inside verse)

Stamp is Solidago Sprig by Delta (from Michaels). I have loved this stamp for a long time, I have a friend who has it. It was in the clearance bin the other day for $3, I snatched it up real quick! Side border is a punch from Fiskars, silver strip on right is a Dazzels from Paper Wishes.

Another mini

I was telling Vicky at Clips and Cuts that I was having a problem with the front circles and eyelets because I don't own a Crop A Dile and she suggested using brads. Today I decided to try it and I found these darling brads and flower sleeves from Paper Wishes.

I did them the same way as if you were adhering eyelets but just used a brad and took the brad through the ribbon at the top to adhere it well. I really like this way of doing it and am happy with the outcome.  Many have asked me about the paper, it's a set that came from Costco, double sided and I'm sorry I don't know whose brand it is.  The flower and enjoy chipboard are from 3 birds.

Here's the second card I cut from the svg file at Clips and Cuts. Vicky has a cool video on her blog showing how to make these little cards and envelopes. I think this envelope is my favorite! The dazzel on the front of the card is from Paper Wishes

Valentine or Wedding?

At first I thought this would be for Valentines but the more I look at it I think I'll keep it for a Wedding card and add congratulations on the inside. This is from the Paper Wishes Feminie Paper Kit. I popped the Love heart on foams squares so it pops through the front open heart.

This was a card from the Paper Flair Shaped card kit from Paper Wishes. I just loved how the frog was put on the fold and the whole card cut and shaped like the frog. Pyper, my Granddaughter, loved it too, it was for her 7th birthday.

I bought several templates from Paper Wishes to make floral cards. I love them! They are so unique. You trace the pattern to the back of the paper, cut out, fold and tuck the petals one under the other. Beautiful cards in no time at all, and not just the same old thing. You can see I've embossed the tip of the envelope using the Crafters Companion Enveloper, which just adds a little extra something to it!
