The Sweetest Treat

Forever Friends Inspiration Challenge was perfect for this card I made today.  Here's the photo I was using for inspiration:

I just love this House Mouse stamp and I used my brand new Copics to color it in, I'm lovin' them! The little chipboard piece is from KC and Company's Handmade Sweet Friends collection. I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the Black and White mats.

The pink floral paper is Sweet Treats from DCWV.

What Hill?

This is for the Darling Cardmakers Challenge - Here Comes the Sun where you were to use the colors, orange, red and yellow, well I think I have that one covered!

And for the Res-Q-Challenge Heartbeats 2 - where you were to use something digital (which the Bugaboo stamp is).

This is another of those adorable Bugaboo Stamps! I opted to use a rub on from My Sentiments Exactly instead of their printed verse which were almost identical. This cards for a dear friend who is turning 60 shortly, appropo don't ya think??
I colored Stella with my Marvy markers and used Glossy Accents on the tip of the hat, her shoes, glasses and flower. The papers I believer are KC and Company, they came from a friend and I'm sure that's what she said. The little heart is also from KC and Company the Handmade Sweet Friends chipboard set.
Inside of the card reads: Just remember once you're over the hill you begin to pick up speed!!

Sympathy Easel Card

Well this was definitely a fun card to make. I've made a couple of other easel cards but this one just flowed together.
It's for our weekly challenge at the  Crafty Card Creators Yahoo group - making a sympathy card.
As well as for these Challenges:
Humble Pie Challenge - Making an Easel Card, which has a fab tut for it here.
Pals Paper Arts Inspiration Challenge #31   using these 4 images on the right as inspiration, which was perfect for my papers:
Lexi's Creations Challenge #8 - Anything Goes.
Incy Wincy Designs - Challenge #31 - A Touchy Feely Card
Crafty Creations Challenge - Cut it Out - Pop it Up
Sophisti Cat Challenge - Embossing
Hand Full of Stamps - Using the word WISH
The nest is a stamp a friend let me borrow, it was embossed with copper then place behind the cut out circle (paper from the Mariposa Paper Stack from DCWV). I cut a few pieces of the leaves so they would lay over the top to create a 3D effect. The little butterfly is also cut from this paper pad, two butterflies one atop the other to give dimension.
The little bird is a chipboard sticker from KC and Company, the sentiment from My Sentiments Exactly rub ons.

In Full Bloom

I saw this challenge  at One Stitch at a Time  where you were to use stitching and I thought this card would be perfect for it, you could use faux stitching or real. This is the first time I've done a double row of faux stitching, jury is still out as to whether I'll do it again.
The love and In Full Bloom chipboard stickers are from KC and Company, ribbon is Michaels.

Inside punch border is Martha Stewart's Garden Trellis. Cuttlebug Texture embossing folder used on brown mat.  I'm thinking this will make a nice Anniversary card

Something Old

You're going to laugh when I telll you what the light mat is behind the bird and music strip. I'ts the backing for the chipboard stickers from K&Company. It was just the perfect blends of cream and browns for my card. See everything is usable!
The little Chipboard Bird Sticker is from KC & Company, the music strip is from the DCWV Marisposa Stack.

This is for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge  Keep It Simple

and for the caardvarks Stuck on You where you were to use stickers.

Embossed Background

Kristine Werner is doing the 25 days of Christmas Cards on her blog. This idea came from her video today. I'm having a hard time getting the embossing to be as crisp as hers is. I'm thinking maybe it's the powder I bought so I'm going to hunt for some clear and see if it creates a sharper design.
