a Cut at Home Design Team Project
Well you know how I've shared before my guy doesn't like all the froo froo stuff we women do but I'm sorry this time he's just gonna have to overlook it because today I'm sharing his Valentine's card, it's my project for Cut at Home this week and I'm so happy with how it turned out.
I used Spellbinders Shapeabilities die Royal Love. So pretty with so many little swirlies and flourishes. I cut it a couple of times just to see how it would pop from the die, I did use wax paper between the die and the paper but didn't have a problem removing it.
I added a couple of rows of lace and a back panel embossed with Sizzix's Lattice embossing folder. To finish off the front I made this little charm from a Tim Holtz fragment with the word LOVE stamped from the Avery Elle Handwritten Notes collection glued to the back of the fragment.
I carried the same cardstocks to the inside and used parts of another Royal Love die cut from a lighter pink for the inside focal point. The sentiment is both the Avery Elle stamp set and JustRite Stamper's Celebrations Sentiments.
I hope you'll join me on the video and I'll show the whole start to finish.
