I'm a Pacific NW gal, born and raised in the Southwestern part of Washington State. There is nothing more beautiful than the sun reflecting in the Columbia River. Or the snow shaping the new forms of Mt ST Helens. If you've not visited the Pacific NW put it on your list of a 1000 places to see before you die. It is well worth the trip and has captured my heart forever no matter where my physical home may be.
Now I'm transplanted to the Southwest corner of Utah, where the majesty of the red rock mountains frames the backdrop for our home. It's a total contrast to the lush green and beauty of the Pacific Northwest, but it has an allure that pulls me and seems to fill my heart with peace.
