Stamp Kissing

UPDATE:
I made it to the Froggin' Fantastic Four with this card check it out here.

I love Lily Pad Blog and saw a new challenge for a technique called 'Stamp Kissing'.
I'd never heard of this nor tried it so I thought today was a good time to learn something new!   Needless to say I'm entering it into the Kissing Challenge at Lily Pad.  I found the hardest part was finding the two cards to kiss together to make a nice blend.

My 'kissing stamps' were the flower branch from My Cute Stamps
the Ashley's Blossoms set
and a script background stamp from Inkadinkado

I added some papers from the 6x6 paper pad by
Melissa Frances called 5th Avenue

The inside is the same sheet of paper fussy cut to make the
corner blossom

The card base is Kraft Cardstock
This gorgeous ribbon was a closeout Offray ribbon (3 yards for 50 cnets!!)
from a local scrapbook store
I also used the script stamp on the backround mat

Here you can see how the branch stamp kissed
the script backround stamp and gave it a hint of script here and there

Working from Scraps

One goal this year for me was to use more of my stash and scraps.
That's what his card is made from, including the envelope

Dotted paper was run through my Bug with the dotted swiss
embossing folder
The butterfly is the Martha Stewart Monarch punch,
which was a birthday gift from a friend.
I love the look with punched several times and
place on atop the other letting the wings flutter

Loved the addition of the little fabric flower
Circle mat was cut on the Cricut and emobssed and then lightly
inked with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink

Thinking of You

This card is made with digital kits from

For the flowers I used
Granny's Garden Page Pak
I printed them first on the Kraft card base then printed again several times
fussy cutting and attaching the flower heads multiple times to give dimension.
and for the sentiment I used
Inside sentiment is stamped from Inkadinkado set
