Hey Dude

In a paper swap with Karen (scrapaway1 on YouTube) she included
a few stamped Magnolia's for me to try.
This darling guy was one of them so I did a card
for my Grandson's birthday.

No bows, ribbons or frills, I tried to keep it pretty
plain and boyish

Hugs

I did a card class at the local scrapbook store. Dandylion Wishes
and used the Stella Roses Gertie 6x6 pad

I did a bunch of cards showing how you could use this one pad
of paper, one set of Stickers and a little pagination to make
a multitude of cards.

The butterflies are a Martha Stewart Punch
The little dots have Glossy Accents on them
and the Stickers are SRM

Card Two - same paper line
The little rosette and brad are also the same line, Stella Rose Gertie
Sticker SRM - Paper Punch Martha Stewart

Card Three -
 Fiskars paper punch

Card Four -

Card Five -

Card Six -
Paper Punches EK Success
Brad - My Mind's Eye
Pearls - Recollections

Card Seven -
Glimmer misted flower
Mat - Sizzix

Card Eight -
Flower -Tattered Flower Sizzix Tim Holtz

Card Nine -
Flower - Sizzix Tattered Flower Tim Holtz
Brad - My Mind's Eye

Card Ten -
Pattern for flower petals was just an oval I drew and cut out of heavy card stock for pattern

There were at least 5 more cards made from this 6x6 paper pad, plus several full sheets left over.
A little paper, some stickers and just an afternoon playing can result in a whole bunch of cards.

Congratulations

isn't it gorgeous, thank you Barb for sending it to me!

Charlie's Wishes

This is a birthday card for my son-in-law.
I thought he'd like Charlie and the Graphic 45 Curtain Call papers.

The card is a #10 size and the envelope is actually
one I had in a pack of Christmas envelopes.
I covered the front cinnamon sticks with the curtain call
ticket and it really goes well with the card, I distressed
the envelope just a little with Vintage Photo.

I've seen so many cards lately where the inside is finished to match the front.
I really like this idea, before it just never seemed like my card were done.
I think I'll be doing a lot more of the inside stuff going forward.

Graduate

I recently received an announcement of a Graduation.
I thought it would be nice to incorporate portions
of her card in the congratulations one
I sent back.

The colored date strip, diploma and hat
are all from the original announcement.

The year numbers are also from the announcement.
The Graduate on the outside and the sentiment here
are both rub ons from My Sentiments Exactly.

Mini Album Gift

I was in such a hurry to get this packaged and ready for Monday's post I forgot to take photos. But, I figured out how to use the frames from the video and they are below.

The book was made with the Black Currant paper stack from DCWV
Front cover has a spray from Webster's Pages,
 charms from Recollections,
a Stick Pin and label made from my computer and covered with Crystal Lacquer
The original 7Gypsies book that I used for the base
came with a spiral binding, which of course was way too small.
I removed it and added ribbons, tied in bows and double knotted.
I ran a thread of Glossy Accents across the end of each ribbon
to keep them from fraying
This little book pulls out and opens to form a 12 spots for 3x3 photos.
as shown below

The left page is an acetate mat with the photo mat slipped behind
The right side is a three page fold out when untied
shown below

Under the belly band is an accordian fold out of mats
Another 3 page mat when untied on the left
and a removable accordion of page mats on the right
Frames are cut with a Spellbinders die
the mat pulls out from the top to allow a photo to be added
An envelope to hold my personal note to the graduate on the left.
