Bad Hair Day

This is one of my favorites! I bought this new embossing folder for my Cuttlebug and just loved the look to the paper, although it does weaken the paper considerably so I decided to cut the card down and reglued just the front to another piece of cardstock. Loved the ribbon, maybe I'm finally get the hang of bows on cards, lol. I didn't' like how his whiskers looked so I painted a strip of paper with black felt tip pen and cut little slips off and added them, like this look much better. Clip Art is from Art Explosion

Another favorite, the little girls are clip art I had gotten online and it was sitting on my computer, I'm sorry but I don't have the source, if you know who they are from would you let me know so I can give proper credit? The sticker is 3Birds. I believe the Memo paper is from Cottage Arts, I printed the sentiment on it and then printed and cut it out. I inked the little flower on the inside to better match the card. Cardstock and faux stitching pen from American Crafts.

I saw this idea online somewhere (sorry I didn't write down where to give proper credit!). I loved the sentiment and the flowers are clip art from my Clip Art CDs. The butterfly is a die cut and embossing folder from Cuttlebug. The circle was cut out with my We R Memory Keepers circle cutter. I see Kristine Wemner always doing the faux stitching so I had to try it, I used an American Crafts Gel pen but I'm not sure I like it, the ink seems to fade into the paper and I seem to have to go over it a couple times so on the lookout for a better faux stitching pen.

Everyday

I wasn't as happy with this card, sometimes they just don't make it, but I'll post it anyway. The cardstock cracked with I tried to use my bone folder on it so I decided instead of chucking the whole card I'd add the gold ribbon across the top. Do you think it was a save or not? Chipboard, flowers, sticker from 3Birds. Polka Dot embossing folder used on font pocket from Cuttlebug.

Blank inside

I wasn't sure how many pictures I wanted to show you of this trifold card and finally decided to post them all. I love how it turned out. I glued the front paper on (more from the stack I got at Christmas) overlapping the right side and then cut the flower from the paper and added it. The right side I did the same but made the strip not as wide and the cutout, attached, flower at the top. Card size is 61/2 x 5.

Everyday

I got this zippered pouch of paper from Costco at Christmas time and have made a scad of things with it. These are from it. The Small flower is cut from the paper and the stem is the handle of a shopping bag. I used my Fiskars Seagull corner punch and slipped the stamped paper into them.

Just a Bad Day

Another piece of Clip Art from Art Explosion. The word balloon is a basic shape from PS, I used my Fiskars crimper on the solid background paper. The plaid is from a Me & My Big Ideas paper stack. Brads are from Memory Makers. The photos don't show it well enough but the background paper is yellow (DCWV) and I scalloped just the front bottom of the card so the yellow from the inside shows along the bottom.
