Putting on the Ritz

I think I'm in love with this Curtain Call Collection from Graphic 45.  The card possibilities are endless.
The flower is one I made, the bling Prima
The round chipboard letters are 3 Birds, I just used a little Black Soot Distress ink around the edges.
Inside has the same verse as below - 'Still Gorgeous after all these years - Happy Birthday'

Paper Flowers

I put this card in the Pals Paper Arts Challenge to use these colors in your card.  They may not be an exact color match but pretty close don't you think.  Really liking this color combo.

I saw this video on Dawn McVey's blog - My Favorite Things - on how to make these paper flowers. Since I don't have a punch like this I used my Cricut and a flower on the accent Essentials cart. I cut them at 1 1/2" and when I do it again I'd make them bigger, probably 2". I used the comic strips from the local newspaper, which turn out great except the ink is a bugger and came off on my sticky pad for the Cricut.
The cute litte Love to see you smile sticker is from 3 Birds as is the button.
Sorry not sure of the paper, it was a gift from a friend and I love it.  I used an EK Success border punch to make the edge on the right side and the bottom of the tag.  Pink paper is Martha Stewart.

These are some more of the stamps I got from Fiskars at JoAnns, I wish I knew the name of the set but unfortunately I threw away the outer packaging, just love them though.
I added a little feather to the hat. The sticker is from 3 Birds and the black journaling paper is from the DCWV Love & Wedding 8x8 pak.
Rhinestones brads are 3 Birds, Paper card base, Martha Stewart.

Just 4 You

Isn't this little bird just the cutest! I found him on Lost in Paper Scraps Blog site, he's called Bird Flower and is a free digital download. (wonder why I think it's a he? must be the expression, like I'm trying to get myself out of trouble????)
The Just 4 You chipboard are from a 3Birds set I've had for eons that I bought from HSN. Glossy Accents applied to flower petals and his beak.
The top two papers are from Me and My Big Ideas 10th Anniversary value pad. The bottom stripes is from a wallpaper book. Circle cut outs are an EK Success border punch.

Another mini

I was telling Vicky at Clips and Cuts that I was having a problem with the front circles and eyelets because I don't own a Crop A Dile and she suggested using brads. Today I decided to try it and I found these darling brads and flower sleeves from Paper Wishes.

I did them the same way as if you were adhering eyelets but just used a brad and took the brad through the ribbon at the top to adhere it well. I really like this way of doing it and am happy with the outcome.  Many have asked me about the paper, it's a set that came from Costco, double sided and I'm sorry I don't know whose brand it is.  The flower and enjoy chipboard are from 3 birds.

Be sure and check out my other mini's here, here and here.

Thanksgiving Swap Card

Created for a Swap at Art Haven Creations Yahoo Group. The square paper on the front is from a Wallpaper book that I got from Sherman Williams. This is the first time I've tried using a wallpaper sample and I'm lovin' it! So many possiblities and the price is right 'FREE'! I added a chipboard greeting from 3Birds, a flower from Mulberry Street, papers from a pack I got from Costco.

Friends

Another favorite, the little girls are clip art I had gotten online and it was sitting on my computer, I'm sorry but I don't have the source, if you know who they are from would you let me know so I can give proper credit? The sticker is 3Birds. I believe the Memo paper is from Cottage Arts, I printed the sentiment on it and then printed and cut it out. I inked the little flower on the inside to better match the card. Cardstock and faux stitching pen from American Crafts.
